About Us

The food pantry was organized by members of the Otego Baptist Church(now called the Unatego Community Church) many years ago.

Rev. Brian Cutting and his wife Becci, along with Lisa Pearce and Colleen Hammond kept the pantry operational until 2012.

In 2012, Elsie and Bill Howland, along with Dottie Lent, took over. They set regular Saturday hours for the food pantry to be open and welcomed the involvement of the 4 other faith communities.

The Pantry then became known as the Otego Community Food Pantry and added Thursday afternoon hours for more convenience to the families.

The number of families assisted continues to grow weekly.
